SPLOST (Special Local Option Sales Tax)

Douglasville/Douglas County voters approved a Special Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) in November of 2016. The City of Douglasville will receive approximately $32.8 million of the total estimated SPLOST funds raised during it's six year life. The City held a town hall meeting with citizens in May 2016 to find out where they wanted the SPLOST funds allocated.

Update 5/24/18

Jackson Paving will initiate asphalt milling & paving of various streets in the Charlton Crossing Subdivision on 5/21/18, and will be there most of the week. If you have any questions/issues please let us know at sanitation@douglasvillega.gov.
