In 2015, the Douglasville Police Department hosted its first Fall Festival and Safety Expo. The Police Department, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, E-911, and other safety partners were on site sharing information about criminal activity and safety tips. There was a children’s area with a bouncy house and fun games and prizes ran by our Citizens Police Academy Alumni.
K-9 demonstrations and building tours were also offered. Numerous vendors participated selling a variety of items including food, toys, arts and crafts, and holiday items.
All proceeds from the vendor registration fees were donated to our American Cancer Society Relay for Life team.
The Fall Festival and Safety Expo is now an annual tradition, so contact Tammy Jewell at firstname.lastname@example.org, or 678-293--1793 for information on this year's festival.
