To commemorate Douglasville’s 144th Birthday, the City of Douglasville invites residents, businesses and the public to join them at the Douglasville Conference Center at 3 pm on February 25th.
“We’re excited about doing something different and involving everyone for the City’s birthday celebration this year,” Tourism Program Manager, Samantha Rosado, said of the celebration. “It’s a symbolic way of showing the City’s plan to set the community on a path of preservation, progress, and growth.”
The celebration is free and open to the public; however, an RSVP is requested as light refreshments will be served. RSVP's can be sent to email@example.com by February 15th. (GMC) will be on hand to hold discussions and receive the wants and needs of the community so they can incorporate them in the redesign of Jessie Davis, Mill Village, and Willing Workers’ Parks. Planning and Development Committee meetings are incorporated into the regular City Council Meetings on the first and third Monday of every month, and the preceeding Thursday for the Legislative Work Session
