Third Class Graduates from Dose Of Douglasville Citizens Academy!

DOD Graduates

The Dose of Douglasville Citizens Academy, held their third graduation ceremony recently. This "citizen engaged" group of 18 people either live or work in Douglasville, and got an overview of city operations during their 10 week class. They represent a broad cross section of our city.

“It was an absolute pleasure to be a member of A Dose of Douglasville: Citizens Academy class of 2019,” said Konswella Gilchrist, a class participant. “The Citizens Academy is not a just a class. It is an absolutely remarkable experience! Each session was very informative and interactive. Not only were participants educated regarding City operations, we were provided hands on experience, live demonstrations and a transparent view of the systems and processes that helps the City to operate at the highest level possible.”

Congratulations to the Dose of Douglasville class of 2019, and be on the lookout toward the end of this year when we will begin accepting applications for the 2020 class!
