The City Of Douglasville has as exclusive franchise for the collection of all commercial and industrial waste within the City limits.

Pay Your Roll-off or Compactor Bill Online

The City ordinance reads: “No person, firm, or corporation except the duly authorized franchisee or duly authorized agents or employees of the City, shall engage in the business of collecting garbage or trash within the city or conveying or transporting garbage or trash on the streets, alley, and public thoroughfares of the City.”

Our policy is as follows:

  • The City provides both front-end service and temporary or permanent open-top service.
  • The City is responsible for the billing and receiving of payment for service.
  • Front-end services are billed by statement of account and open-top services are billed by invoice, both of which are mailed out around the first of each month.
  • Payment terms are net 30. Please submit remittance and put your customer number on your check. (Customer number is located under the mailing address on your statement.)
  • A 10% late penalty is applied for fees more than 30 days delinquent.
  • Only the property owner can acquire commercial sanitation services.
  • Deposits are required prior to setting containers.
  • Written descriptions on placement of containers are required.

Items Not Allowed In Front-End Containers

Electronics & Appliances
Televisions, refrigerators, computers, AC units, microwaves, washers/dryers-most general household appliances.

No Liquids allowed

Hazardous Waste, Flammable Items, Poison, Asbestos
Asbestos, aerosol cans, gasoline, pesticides, propane tanks, household cleaners, ink & resins, contaminated soil or absorbents, and medical waste.

Tires
They are not allowed in containers because landfills do not accept them.

Batteries
Car batteries and dry-cell batteries are not allowed in containers because they can leak chemicals that harm the environment.

Auto Fluids
Motor oil, coolant, transmission fluid, anti-freeze, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, or any other automotive fluids.

Construction Debris
Brick, stone, concrete, asphalt, roofing shingles, renovation debris, railroad ties, glass, and lumber.

Furniture
Couches, tables, chairs, mattresses-most types of bulky furniture.

Yard Waste
Tree limbs, dirt, and yard clippings.
