Challenge accepted! Douglasville Parks and Recreation is removing the financial barriers related to access and play for our youth. This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance for families wishing to participate in extracurricular activities including programs, athletics, and camps. 

The scholarship program is a benefit to Douglasville residents and the awards are based on participant maximum registration, demonstrated need, and available funding. Scholarships are awarded to students 17 and under for internal programs only (internal camps, special events, and athletic programs are included). Scholarships are not awarded for Parks Partnership Programs. 

Please provide all supporting documents to help support your need. You must also provide proof of residency. Priority is given to first time applicants. 

The scholarship program is separate from the registration process. An application or receipt of a scholarship does not guarantee space in a class or program. Any additional fees must be paid at the time of registration by the participant. Failure to attend the program may result in the loss of future financial assistance. Failure to follow the program rules may result in the loss of future financial assistance and removal from the program. Falsification of documents and applications will result in removal from the program.
