Join us for the annual tradition that Douglasville loves: America's Independence - A Fourth of July Celebration Parade!
Registration deadline extended to July 1st at 11:59 PM.
As usual, the parade kicks off at 10 AM sharp along Church Street in downtown Douglasville. However, to avoid construction happening in the area, it will turn left onto Club Drive and then go to Selman Drive. If you normally watch the parade from the old jail area, or along Rose Avenue, you won't be able to see the parade from there this year.
There is plenty of free parking in the Douglasville Conference Center parking garage.
Bring your lawn chairs and stake out a prime viewing location early.
This year, parade registration is easier than ever! Go to www.douglasvillega.gov/parade to register AND pay for your entries.
Remember, only two spots per participant, and pay attention to the rules, regulations and waiver on the registration form.
After the parade, head over to Hunter Park for a Festival that begins at 11 AM.
Then at dark, be in position around the Arbor Place Mall area for the Fireworks show.
It's a perfect way to end a full day of celebration!
