The Douglasville Planning Commission meets in the Auditorium of the Douglasville Conference Center.

The commission is a recommending body and all requests, whether approved or denied, are sent to the Douglasville City Council for a final vote.

The City of Douglasville Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023, to consider a request to adopt a proposed ordinance to amend article 4 of the Unified Development Ordinance to add 4.10 and amend subsection 2.02.C for a Town Center Mixed-Use zoning classification. The Planning Commission recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for a Public Hearing on Thursday, June 1st, 2023, and Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, June 5th, 2023. All meetings are held at 6:00 pm, in the Douglasville Conference Center Auditorium, 6700 Church Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by Community Development Department. Interested parties may attend the public hearing.
