The Douglasville Planning Commission meets in the Auditorium of the Douglasville Conference Center.

The commission is a recommending body and all requests, whether approved or denied, are sent to the Douglasville City Council for a final vote.

The City of Douglasville Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, to consider a proposed amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance for sections 2.02 and 13.01 regarding alcohol use classifications. The Planning Commission recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 14, 2023, and Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, September 18, 2023. All meetings are held at 6:00 pm, in the Douglasville Conference Center Auditorium, 6700 Church Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by Community Development Department. Interested parties may attend the public hearing.
