Planning Commission Public Hearing

The City of Douglasville Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, to consider a request for a variance from section 4.08(B) of the Unified Development Ordinance to reduce the minimum rear yard setback from 50 feet to 25 feet and a variance to allow the canopy accessory structure to be placed at 30 feet in the front yard setback. The site will consist of +/- 1.2 acres on Veteran’s Memorial Highway in Land Lot 744, District 18, Section 2, Parcel ID 07441820013 and 07441820018. The Planning Commission’s recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for a Public Hearing on Thursday, March 14, 2024, and Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, March 18, 2024. All meetings are held at 6:00 pm, in the Douglasville Conference Center Auditorium, 6700 Church Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by Mickey Kapoor.
