Ward 2 recently held a town hall meeting covering a range of significant topics.  Discussions included updates on the GreyStone Amphitheater, outlining recent events and  future plans. There were also updates on Jessie Davis Park, emphasizing the current construction progress. Attendees were briefed on concerns and updates regarding the City Recycling Center and sanitation services. Financial matters were addressed, ensuring transparency and accountability in municipal governance.

Additionally, various city plans were discussed, including the Downtown Master Plan, Parks Master Plan, Urban Redevelopment Plan, ADA Plan, and Comprehensive Plan. These plans outlined strategies for sustainable growth and development within the community. Updates on ongoing community development initiatives highlighted the City’s commitment to local progress.

The meeting provided an opportunity for residents to engage in open dialogue and share their questions and comments.
