Mayor Rochelle Robinson spoke to the Atlanta Preservation Center recently about our historic preservation efforts here in Douglasville.

Specifically, how adaptive reuse has contributed to the revitalization efforts of downtown.

Mayor Robinson was joined by James Pirch from Miller Architecture and Planning here in Douglasville who discussed the architectural aspects of our beautiful, historic buildings.

By saving the buildings of downtown Douglasville, our leadership has shown that proper administration of built resources can continue to promote the shared culture of a community, and make sure it's preserved for future generations.
